This project develops a portable, IoT-enabled photodynamic disinfection kit that uses a non-toxic Vitamin B2 spray and visible light (455–476 nm) to rapidly inactivate microbial Dna/Rna on food and surfaces. The system offers an affordable, energy-efficient alternative to costly cold storage, enabling safe post-harvest handling for small to large-scale produce. By integrating eco-friendly photosensitizers with automated IoT controls, it ensures effective sterilization, improved food safety, and suitability for warehouses and industrial applications. This technology shows strong potential for enhancing post-harvest management and reducing spoilage.
