Project Overview
In this research project, we envisioned a novel phase-transfer catalytic system will be developed by utilizing unique structural and electronic properties of aminocyclopropenium ions in which highly efficient and/or unprecedented synthetic transformations would be established in a one-pot and stereoselective manner (Scheme 3). Considering its operational simplicity, mild reaction conditions, suitability for large-scale synthesis, and the environmentally benign nature, this research field would serve as an attractive area for the pursuit of “green” sustainable chemistry.
