DST- Call for Proposals (CFP) under Scheduled Cast Sub Plan (SCSP) Mission सह-SANKALP

About

The Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, in collaboration with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (O/o PSA), has launched a Mission S&T for Sustainable Livelihood System as Mission सह-SANKALP (Science and Advanced Networks for Knowledge-driven Action for Livelihood Promotion). The national mission addresses the need to integrate S&T solutions with rural and tribal livelihoods to promote sustainability, resilience, and inclusive growth, especially in the Aspirational Blocks identified by Niti Aayog. This Call for Proposals (CFP) invites eligible institutions and organizations to submit proposals for piloting STI-based livelihood interventions in selected Aspirational Blocks to develop scalable models that enhance capacities & strengthen the socio-economic conditions of Scheduled Caste (SC) communities; and align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Proposals must explicitly highlight their alignment with Mission सह-SANKALP and its objectives of advancing sustainable livelihoods.

Important Note

• Academic and R&D institutions • Central/State Government-supported S&T organizations • Technical institutions (IITs, NITs, IISERs, etc.) • Registered NGOs with proven minimum 3-year experience in implementing S&T based projects (NGO should be registered on NGO Darpan portal) • Autonomous bodies under Central/State Governments • Incubators, social enterprises and research associations (in collaboration with R&D labs/institutions) *Note: Private sector entities may apply as partners with Autonomous bodies, R&D labs, Academic/ Technical institutions but cannot be the lead applicant. DST will not allocate any budget for these entities under this programme.
