Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (Inria) launched a targeted programme to foster collaboration between scientific Communities of two countries in the area of Information and Communication Science & Technology. In India, on behalf of the Department of Science & Technology, Indo-French Centre for Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA) invites proposals from the Indian scientists / researchers.
The objective is to support development and commercialization of indigenous, highquality, affordable and innovative medical technologies with established proof-of-concept, and to foster indigenous development of high priority, high-cost, imported medical technologies to promote self-reliance and adaptation for Indian population.

The Department of Health Research invites research proposals for funding consideration under the "Grant-in-aid" Scheme for Inter-sectoral convergence and coordination for promotion and guidance on health research" to promote interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral collaborative health research. The goal is to support projects that bring together Science & Technology departments/organisations and foster inter-sectoral coordination to address pressing health challenges through scientific innovation and technological advancement.
Indo-French Programme for Women in Science (PROWIS) is dedicated to the young women scientists of both India and France. This programme will provide a platform for women candidates to engage & work with Indian/French scientific communities with an aim to accelerate their talented instincts towards carrying out advancedstudies and research in the frontier areas of S&T.
Each year since 1951, Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry, Physics, Physiology or Medicine have been meeting in Lindau, Germany, to discuss major issues of importance to their fields with students from around the world. The meetings include lectures, panel/ round-table discussions on interdisciplinary topics and informal small- group meetings with the Nobel Prize winners. The DST has been sending a group of students / young researchers to these meetings since 2001. It is intended to send a group of Indian Students /young researchers to the 75th Meeting of Nobel Laureates & Students during 28th June to 3rd July 2026, which is dedicated to Interdisciplinary Sciences [Students/ Young researchers involved in studying/ doing research at the intersection of at least two Nobel disciplines (physics, chemistry, and physiology or medicine) or at the intersection of one Nobel discipline and another discipline from the social or natural sciences]. Applications are invited from bright and young students and researchers in the above disciplines for availing this award. The lectures and discussions are at a level appropriate for students/researchers in their early research careers.
The SEA call for proposals has been opened on 25th April 2025, inviting Swedish companies & research organisations to apply along with Indian partners, for pre-pilot activities. The overall budget outlined in this call for proposals from Swedish side is SEK 10 million (approx. INR 9 Crore) in total, which SEA will provide for Swedish applicants.

Conducting Decisive Research that helps in solving an important healthcare problem by a research team. *It can have single or multiple linked research projects with clear deliverables. It encourages indepth research, to generate new knowledge and solutions for health problems in multiple aspects of causation, progression, management and prevention. Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) announces call for proposals for the new program PM Professorship, to utilize the expertise of superannuated scientists and faculty from reputed academic institutions, research laboratories and industry, who are willing to serve in the state universities where research is still at nascent stage. Prime Minister Professor is expected to mentor faculty and students of less endowed universities to improve/raise their research eco-system to be world class. The objective is to leverage expertise of active, eminent and superannuated scientists for their outstanding contributions both nationally and internationally in the areas of engineering, science, and technology including agriculture, medicine and social sciences at the interface of science and technology. The program aims to strengthen R&D culture in less endowed state universities, by boosting their research and innovation aspects in collaborative mode.
