Scholarships & Fellowships

The goal of IIM Amritsar's Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program is to give young research researchers the chance to actively undertake research within the wide parameters of business management in their specialised subject or an interdisciplinary topic. It is a two-year full-time curriculum that can be extended for an additional year if students make good progress. The post-doctoral fellows will work with an IIM Amritsar faculty member or faculty members to conduct their research during the program. They are expected to conduct excellent research that results in publications in reputable international journals. Post-doctoral fellows are required to support faculty members in their teaching efforts in addition to their research endeavours.

1. Candidates who have obtained a PhD degree (or equivalent) from institutions of high repute such as Central Universities, IIMs, IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai, or other globally recognized Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards (as decided by IIM Amritsar), within the previous five academic years from the date of application, may apply.
2. The maximum age limit for candidates is 40 years (relaxable by 5 years for women and reserved category candidates).
