These grants are available to the faculties of Basic Sciences, including Medical and Engineering Sciences, of the Universities, which are eligible to receive developmental grants from UGC. Eligibility: The applicant has successfully supervised the Ph.D. dissertation of 15 full-time candidates, 5 of whom are graduated during the preceding 5 years. The applicant has successfully completed at least 5 sponsored research projects funded by national/international government or private agencies. The cumulative impact factor of the published papers by the applicant should be minimum 30. The applicant has a minimum 3 years of service left in the University from the date of submission of his/her application.
