About

The current project proposes to develop a paper based electrochemical sensor for simultaneous detection of ascorbic acid and uric acid. The MoS2 based paper sensor will non-enzymatically detect the targeted biomolecules. This detection will rule out the possibilities enzyme denaturation over the electrode surface enhancing stability of the device. Furthermore, devices can be easily stored without the need of any special requirements which will be suitable for field trials at rural places. The electron transport properties and molecular-interaction studies through DFT will be explored. Incorporation of a peak detection algorithm to detect different DPV oxidation peaks for ascorbic acid and uric acid from the same DPV signal measured in a complex fluid matrix. Implementation of a robust ML-driven web app interface will enhance the resolution and accuracy of the sensor.
