Urban public transport system suffers from many issues, e.g., lack of pre-trip planning, unavailability of real-time bus information, absence of health and public safety in post-COVID scenarios, inefficient capacity utilization of the transit system, etc. Thus, this project developed an AI-powered, data-driven Passenger information system (PIS) which will boost the ridership by facilitating convenient, reliable and accessible public transport system and provide a tool for the operators to analyze the ticketing data and find the gap between demand and supply.
