The project objectives are:
a) track and brake condition monitoring,
b) condition monitoring of tracks and possible identification of defects,
c) condition monitoring of train brakes,
d) monitoring of braking practice and also braking distance estimation and
e) capturing signal interlocking plan from yard ESP/IR-SIP.
The common thread running through this is the use of AI techniques on available data.
