About

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an effective tool to obtain the air flow circulation in a room, and identify the recirculation zones. It can predict the air residence time and the time scale of evacuation of pollutants. The CFD model predictions are to be validated with sensor data obtained from other sub-projects. The CFD data can also be used to optimize the operation of interventions required to improve ventilation and their energy usage.
