This project focuses on achieving highly accurate and scalable distance measurement between BLE devices using a channel-sounding approach. Custom BLE firmware will be developed to enable device communication and extract IQ samples, which will be processed through phase-based ranging to achieve centimeter-level accuracy, even in complex environments. To enhance security, the system will incorporate features like random frequency hopping and a Round-Trip Time (RTT) technique to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. The project will establish a core infrastructure and proof-of-concept for BLE-based precise distance estimation, enabling future real-world applications.
