The early detection of glaucoma is important in preventing visual impairment [8]. We propose to build an AI-based application (based on the regression Convolutional Neural Network model) that can accurately detect glaucoma in the Indian population (Figure 1). In the proposed approach we would use a large dataset of colored fundus images from an Indian population for training the AI model for glaucoma detection.
