About

Two-wheeled electric bikes are becoming increasingly popular due to their environmental friendly, energy efficiency, and low operating costs. The battery pack is the most costly equipment that accounts for about 40%-50% of electric bike cost Therefore, one of the critical challenges faced by electric bike manufacturers and users is optimizing the lifespan and performance of the battery pack. Battery cell balancing plays a crucial role in addressing this issue by ensuring that individual cells within the pack are charged and discharged evenly, thus maximizing overall battery life . Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in two wheeled electric bikes, which come in various configurations such as prismatic, pouch, and cylindrical . Cylindrical cells offer several advantages, including cost n effectiveness, greater energy density, and reduced swelling compared to pouch or prismatic cells
