Develop and commercialize the use of the proposed thin flexible metamaterial devices as add-ons to boost substantially the capabilities of clinical MRI systems currently utilised in hospitals. The goal is to achieve the maximum SNR simultaneously with the lowest possible SAR. These metamaterials and metasurfaces are composite structures designed to manipulate electromagnetic fields in an almost arbitrary way.
