The project develops a joint radar–communication framework at millimeter-wave frequencies by integrating radar into existing protocols to reduce channel-estimation latency. A dual-functional front end with analog beamforming and a single RF chain will detect and localize users. Propagation performance will be validated through simulations and indoor experiments with minimal added cost or complexity.
