This project aims to develop a hybrid UAV powered by open-cathode PEM fuel cells to significantly extend endurance for defence and commercial applications. By integrating lightweight hydrogen fuel cells with UAV systems, the work targets higher specific energy, longer flight times, improved reliability, and a sustainable alternative to battery-limited operations.
