This project focuses on designing and developing high-energy density sodium metal batteries for powering autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). The goal is to create a more efficient, sustaiNoble, and long-lasting power source to enhance the operatioNol range and capabilities of AUVs. By replacing traditioNol lithium-based batteries with sodium metal, the project aims to offer a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution, crucial for underwater exploration, monitoring, and surveillance.
