This project aims to develop a supercapacitor-based bicycle designed to enhance riding comfort by providing supplemental power during the pedal rotation dead zone. Cyclists commonly experience discomfort and inefficiency due to power loss at these points, necessitating additional pedal strokes and increasing strain on mechanical components such as the crankset, ball-bearings, and chain links. The proposed solution employs an innovative push-pull mechanism powered by supercapacitors, effectively smoothing out pedaling dynamics, reducing mechanical wear, and improving overall cycling efficiency and component lifespan.
