This project, InDyslexiCare, aims to develop an interactive assistive system to support dyslexic students in Indic languages, starting with Kannada and Manipuri. Given that 10–15% of Indian children are estimated to have dyslexia, early intervention is crucial. However, access to specialized resources is limited, especially in remote areas. While assistive technologies exist, they rarely support low-resource Indian languages. InDyslexiCare addresses this gap by providing an accessible, language-specific tool tailored for dyslexic learners, with a focus on Kannada in its initial phase.
