To develop a lightweight, space and cost effective BTMS which can be readily deployed into the battery pack of a lightweight EV. The existing high efficiency BTMS primarily employ active cooling systems which do not seem to be a feasible solution for the lightweight EVs due to weight, space and cost constraints.
