It aims to design a novel lubricant with graphene additive for improved
reliability (minimise mean time between failures) for the gear box and bearing system of wind turbine. Different weight percentages of graphene will be tested using a rolling contact test rig, and life will be assessed based on reliability (L10) life using a available test rig with the PI. In the investigation, online interface temperature and vibration levels will be reported.
