The proposed solution takes input from various sensors to perceive the complete 3D information about the environment. The perceived information is utilized to calculate the precise location and then it finds the exact path to reach the destination. While the path gets planned, it also considers the information received from V2X architecture to generate waypoints with the help of a control algorithm to drive the vehicle on its own. Multi Sensor Data Fusion algorithm development is in the process for accurate environment perception. Data from LiDAR, Stereo camera, Ultrasonic sensor, RADAR used for information from nearby vehicles and infrastructure for real time road information (congestion, potholes, weather, and traffic signal data). Using this proposed algorithm, it is expected to achieve reduction in fuel consumption, traffic congestion, and ensure safety.
