To perform complex tasks such as underwater pipeline inspection (inside and outside), drilling, manipulating 3D objects, cutting, sample collection, etc., in 3D space. A suitable autonomous/intelligent motion control scheme for tracking, positioning and various deep-sea operations such as inspection, valve opening, drilling, etc. Detailed design and fabrication of a six DOF multi-purpose vehicle with intelligent motion control. A fully functional prototype is developed and demonstrated
