Network science is an emergent field of study which enables the application of AI in the study of complex systems. Networks arise in almost every domain. Complex networks adequately represent the structure and dynamics of many complex systems (biological/
epidemiological/ social/ communication/ transportation/ neural systems). In this project, we propose to study the robustness of such networks, i.e. how they withstand attacks and failures. The vulnerability analyses of complex networks will be an essential step forward in comprehending the mechanism underlying the evolution of complex
systems.
