The project aims to localize LoRaWAN- powered Internet of Things (IoT) nodes/devices using the Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) technique. A key requirement of such localization is the precise synchronization of gateways, which is typically achieved using GPS/GNSS. Since using GNSS comes
with overheads such as high power consumption, no indoor coverage, etc. a special synchronization node is
employed in our system to achieve GNSS-free localization.
