Surrogate safety measures play a crucial role in predictive safety interventions, especially for inconsistent roads with heterogeneous traffic. By utilizing these measures, this study aims to enhance road safety through a detailed analysis of vehicle trajectories. The surrogate safety measures, such as time-to-collision (TTC), deceleration rate to avoid collision (DRAC), anticipated collision time (ACT) etc. provide essential insights into potential safety risks by evaluating detailed vehicle trajectory data, including speed, direction, acceleration, and position over time.
