i. Design norms (formulations) for roof bolt-based goaf edge support and rib during depillaring with stowing for given geo-mining conditions.
ii. Design norms for critical roof span (critical volume of void) between stowed goaf and working face.
iii. The developed design norms will help in efficient extraction of pillar with stowing underneath important surface and sub-surface features.
iv. Increase in production, productivity and safety from underground coal mines.
v. Replacement of conventional wooden cog/chock support by roof bolt-based goaf edge support at the goaf edge.
