a. Synthesis of artificial construction geomaterials (ACG) from mine waste that can substitute natural geomaterials in earthworks and other infrastructure projects.
b. Explore the feasibility of accelerated carbonation (AC) that can be later developed as a method to tap CO2 from atmosphere and using it for ACG synthesize (next phase of research).
c. Synthesis of hydrophobized ACG (HACG) to reduce the environmental impact of ACG, if any.
d. Life cycle cost benefit analysis of the synthesized products.
e. Develop standard operating procedure for mine waste management through value added product with minimal environmental impact.
