The idea is to devise a precision agricultural process of delivering the pesticides/fungicides with the minimum amount possible to keep the crops healthy and not contaminate the food crop itself. This is being achieved by spraying concentrated solutions of pesticides from UAVs exploiting the smart variable rate technologies.
