An affordable AI and image-based tool has been developed for evaluating the quality of fruits and vegetables using a microscopic image capturing system integrated with a smartphone camera. The system is portable, compact, and user-friendly. The hardware prototype is ready, software refinement is in progress, and a patent has been granted.
