This technology enables continuous closed cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) glucose monitoring in patients with external ventricular drainage (EVD) using an adapted Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) sensor. The system aims to provide early detection of CSF infections, improving clinical response time and patient outcomes through real-time, minimally invasive monitoring.
