The objective of this proposal is to implement a secure smart card system that facilitates seamless payments and various activities within the campus, enhancing operational efficiency and user convenience. This will be achieved through two key components: first, the deployment of smart cards and associated devices to support payment transactions, library operations, attendance marking, and access control; second, the introduction of an advanced payment system for the food court, utilizing image processing to assess the contents of a student's plate and biometric facial recognition for secure payment. To ensure the integrity of the system, we will prioritize high-level security measures for data management and transmission, alongside active fraud detection mechanisms to safeguard against unauthorized usage of the smart card.
