About

This pilot project endeavors to unlock the economic potential of Mahua resources for tribal communities in Kabirdham district. Through field surveys and technological interventions, it aims to optimize Mahua flower collection and ethanol production, addressing challenges such as seasonal availability and storage. On-site training sessions will empower communities with improved techniques, while investigations into ethanol's viability as an alternative fuel will be conducted. Ultimately, the project aims to establish a sustainable business model to maximize the commercialization of Mahua-based products, fostering socio-economic development among tribal populations.
