Subhash Jagtap observed the painstaking and laborious task of manually grinding sandalwood paste in temples and realized that they have a continuous and repetitive requirement of pure sandalwood paste, for religious rituals on a regular basis. Therefore he started to work on developing a machine for the same and after various trials and feedback succeeded. The Sandalwood Paste making machine is an electrically operated motorised rotary grinder. The Sandalwood logs of small size, are placed on the circular shaped grinding stone. The motor rotates the grinding stone over the sandalwood log, a small quantity of water gets added with the result that a smooth Sandalwood paste gets formed.
