Sanitation workers mostly pile up the waste in heaps at the side of the roads after cleaning. This is then picked up manually and dumped into a dustbin/garbage cart/vehicle. The process is not only unhygienic but also cumbersome.
Sikanto has developed a manual waste picking up and dumping hand cart, using which sanitation workers can easily collect waste, without touching it and dump it at the required place.
