The proposed production plant for 100 tonnes per annum of composite propellant for cartridge loaded and case bonded rocket motors. The plant should also cater for certain facilities like insulation sheet manufacture, non destructive testing (NDT), raw material testing, mechanical property testing, storage facilities workshop fire fighting air conditioning. It is proposed to take the help of industry to set up the facilities and also to run the plant for which necessary expertise will be given by HEMRL. The firm engaged is expected to take up design erection commissioning and operation of the plant. The firm should have capabilities for infrastructure development plant design, equipment erection & commissioning and also continuous plant operation. The complete project will be on the turnkey basis and relevant technical know-how will be provided by HEMRL.
