US10076550: Synergistic pharmaceutical composition for gastrointestinal disorders
The invention relates to a mainly herbal composition comprising Terminalia bellerica fruits (1-5% w/w) more particularly the extract of dried fruits. The composition further has exogenously added malonic acid, glutamic acid, eicosenoic acid and linolenic acid. The composition of invention is useful in treatment and control of gastro intestinal problems like diarrhea, dysentery, ulcers etc. and used as an oral dosage form.
