IN268527: White light emitting organogel and process thereof
The invention provides white light emitting materials. The invention further provides a process for the preparation of white light emitting organogels using the concept of molecular self-assembly and partial energy transfer. The donor acceptor type molecules on coassembly and subsequent irradiation with suitable wavelength light produce white light. On irradiation, partial transfer of the excitation energy from the donor to the acceptor takes place, resulting a broad emission covering the entire range from 400-700 nm to give bright white light emission with CIE coordinates of (0.31,0.35).
