Abstract
There is provided a method and an equipment for the production of fine and ultrafine powders by in flight processing of various electrically conducting and non-conducting precursor materials such as metals, alloys, composites, ceramics like coarse SiC and electrically non-conducting powder such as charred rice husk, in thermal plasma, utilizing a combination of both non-transferred as well as transferred plasma arc mode.
