Abstract
The invention provides a process for preparation of polymeric N-acrylamido triazole compounds of general formula A and the use thereof as anti-tarnishing agents and corrosion inhibitors of copper and copper alloys. This invention particularly relates to a process for the synthesis of N-acrylamido triazole polymeric compounds which can be coated directly on a metal surface using a suitable solvent so as to impart anti-tarnishing property as well as makes the top surface hydrophobic.
