IN316587: Sila analogs of oxazolidine derivatives and synthesis thereof
Abstract
This invention relates to novel oxazolidinone derivatives having potential antimicrobial activity over a wide spectrum of pathogens and modulation of coagulation properties of blood-clotting cascade. More particularly, the invention relates to silicon analogs of oxazolidinone compounds, pharmaceutical compositions and the synthesis of oxazolidinone derivatives. The invention further relates to methods of treating a subject suffering with gram positive pathogens, including those resistant to methicillin and vancomycin using the compound(s) or modulation of coagulation properties of blood-clotting cascade or compositions of the oxazolidinone.
