IN356851: A process for prepartion of layered sp2 carbon nano materials from heavy petroleum ends
This invention leads to a process for the preparation of layered sp2 carbon nano materials from heavy petroleum ends comprising various materials derived from heavy petroleum ends like meso carbon, bitumen, vacuum residues as a starting material with certain additives and templates under different thermal processing conditions to produce graphene at a temperature in the range 300-1000°C for a period of 0.5-24 h under inert atmosphere, the desired product is further processed to produce desired layered carbon nano- materials.
