IN318068: A process for the synthesis of injectable biomimetic hydroxyapatite as bone graft material

The proposed report discloses injectable self-setting hydroxyapatite and a process to produce Hydroxyapatite-carboxyl Methylcellulose composite for use as an injectable scaffold suitable for bone graft applications. Obtained product has been characterized and confirmed using X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy and compressive mechanical properties.
