The invention relates to an automatic device for pneumatic extrusion of dough in to sheet and shaping, cutting of extruded sheet for preparation of poory and other similar Indian traditional foods. The device of the invention, namely, an automatic device for pneumatic extrusion of dough in to sheet and shaping, cutting of extruded sheet for preparation of poory and other similar Indian traditional foods will be referred to as a device. The device is useful for the extrusion of any dough, particularly farinaceous dough; in to sheet or strand and to cut the extruded sheet in to different shapes such as square, rectangle, cylinder and so on, for the preparation of poory and other Indian traditional foods. The shaped and cut sheets obtained by using this device of the present invention are of uniform thickness and are obtained in a continuous manner. The dough employed may be such as rice dough, wheat dough and urdh dough and this doesn't restrict the device/invention to be used for other materials and cross applications other than food. The device is therefore useful as an accessory to a machine for making poory, chapathis, papads and the like.
