Ministry provides the Potential Fishing Zone (PFZ) aadvisories for fishermen based on satellite data on SST and Chlorophyll content in the sea water. Advisories are disseminated on daily basis through 558 fishing centres and estimated 4.02 lakh users made huge economic benefits from these advisories.
