Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness aims to promote research, training and education and the practice of well being for students and teachers through the application of happiness and well being. Such research is based on the concept of improving the quality of people’s lives by focusing on strength that enhances positive emotions and positive relationships. Based on the science of happiness, the aim is to promote community, family and individual thriving, wellbeing and holistic self-development. Centre will attempt to understand and promote the science and practice of happiness for fostering human wellbeing through fundamental and applied research, technology development, knowledge dissemination, academic programs and training and outreach activities
