The ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi was established on 18th January 1997 at Manjri, Pune. The mandate of the institute are: 1. Strategic and applied research on safe grape production and productivity. 2. Transfer of technology and capacity building of stakeholders for enhanced and sustained production of grapes. 3. National Referral Laboratory for Food Safety and Pesticide residue in fruits.
