National Research Centre on Equines is a premier institute established under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for conducting research on equine health and production. Its mission is to achieve freedom from dreaded equine diseases through the development of modern diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutic agents and undertaking proper disease surveillance, monitoring and forecasting and providing strategic control and eradication measures.
