The academic partner must be an Indian citizen residing in India and must hold a regular academic/research position in an academic institution or national laboratories or recognised R&D institutions. All industries (including MSME & industrial R&D Centres) are eligible. The objective is to utilize the expertise available in academic institutions and national laboratories to solve industry specific problems for the larger benefit of society
