This programme was launched under the India-Africa Forum Summit to promote human capacity building through scientific and technological cooperation between Africa and India.The objective is to provide opportunity to African researchers to conduct collaborative research in various areas of science and technology in different Indian universities and research and development (R&D) institutions under guidance of host scientists in India. This prestigious fellowship aims to further strengthen the bond between India and African nations in the fields of science and technology.FICCI is the 'Coordinating Partner' and invites applications from African researchers for award of this fellowship. The Fellowships offered include Doctoral/ Post Doctoral Fellowship for duration of 6 months, Visiting Fellowship for 3 months and Senior Fellowship for 1 month. The Fellowship includes monthly sustenance allowances, contingency grant, return air fare by economy class etc.
